Cambodia and Thailand - October, 2005 Return to Lindsey Home Page Welcome to the Thailand/Cambodia pages.  We spent about 2 weeks in Thailand at three locations - Bangkok at the start and end of the trip, Sukhothai Historical Park about 200 miles north of Bangkok, and finally the city of Chiang Mai another 150 miles north.  We then flew to Siem Reap, Cambodia, the city close to Angkor Wat and other extensive ruins of the Khmer empire, 7th through 13th century, give or take a few hundred years.  We then took a bus to Cambodia's capital, Phnom Penh, where we spent two interesting days. Finally we flew back to Bangkok and a couple of days later returned home to Anchorage.
