First of all you must find a position that is comfortable for you and that you are sure is attainable for at least 15 minutes, preferably sazeem. It helps to play some relaxing music to help keep your mind focused on the task at hand. The next step for basic meditation would be to close your eyes and relax. Place your hands directle in front of the hara. Think of the energy, chi or qi, entering you, don't try too hard to feel this it will come naturally. Make sure that you are taking deep breaths in through your nose directly to your stomach. Out through your mouth. Now, think, meditate on something whether it be what improvements you wish to make on yourself or, a certain reaction you would like to quicken, or simply on relieving stress. Don't worry about your saliva, just swallow it, this should not break your concentration. Also, if in sazeem your feet might fall asleep, this is not to be worried about either, your body will become accustomed to this position after some time, it's just like stretching. When your concentration begins to wear thin, simply stop your meditation. It is useless to force yourself to meditate, it will do you no good.
