The biggest development of ninjutsu was from the Heian Era in China to the Kamakura Era in Japan. This art is based in a mix of magic tricks and technical capacities having as an origin the lamasteriums in Tibet, and having the complete development in the Shaolin Temples. Later it passed to Japan when were perfected their most incredible techniques, that are documented in manuscripts called Torimakis, many of these registrys couldnīt been decoded until our days, because they were writen in secret codes, so these wouldnīt get in the enemyīs hand.
This masters in the art of invisibility developed many techniques to be able to infiltrate to any place, everything brilliantly planned. Their combat and espionage tactics are confusing to any enemy. In the older times, the teachings were transmited from father to son, it was always considered as a familiar tradition, thatīs why every person who didnīt belong to the ninja family and would practice ninjutsu was considered as a member of the family, taking with him, the responsabilities and privileges that corresponded to them.
Many of the ninja techniques are based on the observation of the nature, the brilliance that animals use to atack their prey, the knowledge of the human body and the weatherīs natural rithym, thatīs the reason their techniques were developed in the mountains, woods, jungles and so forth. The trainings in open fields are done with the purpose of the smarter, and faster, because they considered the nature as the best circuit for training. You share and live beside nature, thatīs why ninjutsu is considered a way of life and not a martial art.
The resistance to the pain, hunger, weatherīs adversities and sleep deprivation that a ninja adquires are incredible, his courage and creativity are admirable, his skills and senses are developed until the limit of making him almost superhuman.
Many believe that a training of this kind wouldnīt have use in our days, and that just would be usefull for a war time, thatīs totally oposite to the ninjaīs thought who was trained and trains to help people, to be better as a person, and to have values in a lost and caotic system, not for hurt anybody.
The misconception by many is that "ninjutsu"(or if you prefer "ninjitsu") is merely a fighting form or a fictional fighting style. Hand to hand combat is definately a part of the art, yet when looked at with the other aspects of the art it is a very miniscule portion. Also, although many ninjas appear in movies they don't quite represent the art even close to the reality. Ninjutsu, it is a style of life. Every day when I wake I am already begining to train for that day. I am a ninja and to those who know the actions of such a person it would be very easy to discover me in a croud. Yet few actualy know so my ninjutsu remains a secret. All of my life I have known in my heart what my destiny is and the day that I met my shidoshi I knew what was to happen. Ninjutsu is in fact an ancient style, but not of fighting but of life. The monks who created it were in fact already practicing it before they created the physical aspects. Ninjutsu is something very serious, not joked about by those who know it. So please if you would like to use this site for any wrong purposes or if for some reason you feel the need to be annoying please go so elswhere. You would be safer playing with fire than with Ninjutsu.
