Wilderness Survival
Being lost, alone or stuck in the wilderness can be a scary situation for anyone but if you remeber some easy tools and ways of survival your experience in the wilderness will be much more successful and enjoyable and it may even save your life. The first thing that everyone must remember is that you need to keep a POSITIVE ATTITUDE. Very often people who become lost in the wilderness will panic this causes them waste energy and lose sight of what is important, sometimes people will panic and run trying to find their way out faster, when in actuality it is best to stay still and let people find you, or to move along some type of noticeable feature like a river. In some cases people who are lost have been known to get depressed and actually give up on themselves. This negative attitude will do nothing but lessen your chances of survival and of being found. With a possitive attitude you will be able to think clearly and work efficiently towards things that you need to accomplish. Now lets talk about the things you need to accomplish, there is a simple list of thing that are vital to surviving and they are (in order of importance) 1.Shelter, 2.Water, 3.
