Tao
The tao is the path of the perfection that is based on balance. Tao is a deep philosophical thought (origionaly developed in Asia by philosophers namely Lao Tze). Tao is based on the yin yang which puts a perfection on the universe, most martial arts are based on the yin yang principal because it represens the balace in the universe, all good has bad, all bad has good. If you look at it centered, for some philosophers the line seperating the main bodies of the yin and yang represents the life. This is because if you make an arrow head point on the top of the line this would represent how sometimes you are up( happy, feeling good, satisfied) in life. Yet ,as with the yin yang, the opposite is also true. If the arrowhead were to be placed on the bottom it represents how sometimes you are down( sad, disgusted, unsettled). This movement is similar to a wave, if you look at the line of seperation you will see that it is a wave. Look closer if you see the begining of one end of the line, it can represent your birth, while the end can represent your death the end of all. What tao tries to do is to find a middle point. If you were to draw a horizontal and vertical line, perpindicular to eachother, each seperating the same ammount of the yin yang you will get a perfect middle point. This intersection in the middle gives you a center of balance and equilibrium. This is ground zero. We want to be at ground zero, no good no bad just balance. Around it is the universe it is a cycle it goes around from good to bad and is in constant change. Keep the stability of the center and you can focus.
