BASIC BELIEFS
All people are inherently free, and with that freedom comes the responsibility to exercise it wisely. To impinge on another’s freedom is to kill a part of ourselves.
There is a nobility and limitlessness to the Human spirit. Most of the time.
Self-mastery is the nearest to Divinity a Human may approach.
There is always a choice.
The truth is a beautiful thing.
Love does not answer every question nor does it solve every problem.
CREATION
I have no clue who or what created our universe (or multiverse—that’s another one I have no real idea on). I believe that there’s a purpose to it all, but that it’s far beyond the understanding of the Human Race to grasp it. This is not just a bunch of random stuff happening.
THE WORLD AROUND US
The ecosystem that is our world existed long before and will exist long after Man. It doesn’t need us in the least. We, however, need it. If we want it to continue being kind to us, we need to make a better effort of being kind to it. The planet itself is a holy place.
FAMILY
To treat someone better (or allow them to treat you worse) just because you might share some similar DNA seems silly to me. Better to surround yourself with people who you love, admire, respect and appreciate because of who they are and/or what they do. True bonds do form in families, but only out of positive virtues shared among them—no differently than from unrelated people.
SEX
Sex is be one of the truly powerful acts that we are capable of performing. Alternately, it can just be loads of fun. Consenting adults of both genders should be free to explore sexuality with whichever and however many other consenting adults they wish, in whichever fashion they wish.
