Rising Sun, a vassal to the Warbringer Varig, married to
Talloaks in return for political and economic alliance.

- Young Lorish woman who fancies herself a Second Son. The
Herald of Bitter Hill.

- Ravenite sorcerer, child of destiny.
NON-PLAYER CHARACTERS
- LUTHIC TALLOAKS
- A former woodcutter, now Lord of Bitter Hill, a hold who
suffered greatly under the Tyresians and during the
reclamation. Moody, inspirational, sometimes irrational,
bent on saving the S'ilaran he knew.
- VAXIL VAXILANDIKAR
- A General in service to the Warbringer Varig, absolute
Lord of the Godshold (also called Bloodhold). Has a
yet-to-be revealed relationship with Zoethe.
- SILVANUS GOLDFIELD
- Chief antagonist of Bitter Hill. The only former lord of
S'ilaran to have reclaimed his hold after The
Reclamation. Thinks that Talloaks has risen too far above
himself.
