Chapter 7: Starting the Next Semester Ahead.

We won’t get to chapter 7 this year and there will most likely be a small number of questions about it on the AP Exam. (It’s about atomic structure, electron configurations, and periodic trends.)

So the extra credit assignment is this: work on the Chapter 7 Kemper Practice Quiz (you can download it at http://www.asdk12.org/staff/kemper_steve/pages/default.htm and learn as much from the book as you like. On the day we get back from the break (yes, that first Monday) we will have a “for free” quiz on it in class. Everyone will take it, and everyone will get 5/5 points for taking it. However, if you get more than 15 out of 25 (or so) questions right, you’ll get extra credit points (one point for every one more than 15 right).

One last thing: we’ll be starting the second semester with chapter 15. You’re welcome to do any reading ahead that you think would be wise to do.
