| Darms
Our Darms family immigrated from Graubunden, Switzerland about 1849 to Sauk Co. WI. In 1883, Balthazar Darms and his children moved to Napa, CA to join his brother-in-law Henry Trueb. Other Swiss Darms families in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Trueb Elizabeth and Henry Trueb immigrated to Sauk Co. WI about 1854. After marriage to sibling Darms, they moved on to Napa, CA. Other Swiss Trueb families in Wisconsin Frash Karl? and Maria Frash immigrated from Germany to Napa CA in the 1870's with their sons Frederick, Charles, and three daughters. Other surnames associated with this family are: Steifel, Appinger, Schaven, Wells, and Bossinger. McCain Robert McCain, born in KY, migrated to Putnam Co. IN (possibly through Lawrence Co.IN) and then on to Buchanan Co. MO. In the late 1800's the families of his son, Nelson, and grandson, William Pleasant moved to Rush Center, KS and then on to Chino CA. Surnames associated with this family are: Yates, McCrary, Thompson, and Wyatt Kyler William B. Kyler married in Texas Co. MO and then moved on to Pomona CA. He may have been the orphaned son of Elijah Kyler and Sarah Robey of Marion Co. MO. They had been born in KY Wallace John Wallace and Armazinda Martin's families of Crawford Co. IL were early settlers of that county. John and Armazinda moved to Texas Co. MO in 1870. Their children married into many Texas Co. families including Lingo, Ellis, Williams, Neal, and Micham. Starr Our Starr family was German, supposedly spelled Stahr, who immigrated to Napa Ca in 1880 from Ontario, Canada. Other surnames associated with this family are Johnson and Stark

Potter
Our Potter family started in the Carolinas prior to the Revolutionary War. Our line moved on to Gibson Co. IN by 1820, to Marion Co. IL in 1853, to Ottawa KS in 1878, and on to Fresno CA in 1913. The Leisgan family immigrated from Germany about 1860 settling in Warsaw, IL. The family name changed in the next generation to Lishen with descendents settling in Peoria and Warsaw IL, Cloverport KY, MO, and Saline Co. KS. Elston Our Elstons were early settlers of Washington Co. OH , later moving to Marietta. Our line moved on to Saline Co. KS in the 1870's Clover Ricketts William and Nancy Ricketts were married in Maury Co. TN but were in Clark Co. AR by 1870.
