PARTNER DANCE WORKSHOPS

WITH ARI LEVITT AND JODI FLEISCHMAN

Grab your pen and mark off January 3-6, 2008 on your calendar. You will not want to miss the dance workshops that Ari Levitt and Jodi Fleischman will be teaching in East Coast Swing, Lindy, Night Club Two Step, Waltz and Blues/One Step.

For the past two years Walter Dill has come up to teach beginning partner dance classes. This year we thought we'd take it up a notch and have instructions beyond the basics. There will be two beginning classes in East Coast Swing and Waltz but the rest will be for those who have the basics down. If you need to get the basics or brush up on them, I'd recommend taking classes from local instructors pronto. Suggestions on where to look include: akdance.com, akswing.com, danceakdance.com, danceconnect.org, wcsalaska.org or thedancingbears.com.

Jodi and Ari are spectacular dancers and wonderful instructors that will have you totally enthused about your dance. Jodi hails from Seattle and has taught everything from Swing, Lindy Hop, Salsa, Night Club Two Step, Foxtrot, Waltz and Blues in the USA and abroad. She is a past Pacific Northwest Lindy Grand Champion. Soon she heads to Argentina to teach a workshop in Lindy Hop to tangeros! Known for her warm and playful teaching style, Jodi just really loves sharing her passion for all things-dance.

Ari is a medical doctor and IT wizard by profession but a dancer at heart. He has danced, performed, and choreographed from Stanford University, to Seattle, to Pennsylvania, on cruise ships, on stage, in the opera and many other parts of the USA and Canada before moving back to Palo Alto. He has performed with the Dunai Dance Ensemble, Savoy Swing Performance Troupe, Jumpcats Swing Ensemble, Swingcats Rhythm Review and Stanford Salseros. The love of dance exudes from his every pore and with every subtle movement when Ari's on the hardwood.

Don't miss this wonderful opportunity. Give it to yourself (or to someone else) for a holiday gift. Just do whatever it takes to take some or all of their workshops. See the enclosed class descriptions for more information and use the registration form to sign up.
