HOMER ALASKA FARMERS' MARKET

The Homer Farmers' Market was begun in 1999 by several local producers. It has grown to over 30 vendors. A wide variety of Alaska grown or produced products are available every Saturday from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. From late June to Late September. Often there is live music froma local or visiting group or just whoever brings their instrument and drops bye. There is a sandbox for the kids and information from the Alaska Cooperative Extension Service. Most vegetable vendors can accept the WIC Farmers Market cupons.

Arugula, Kale, Kohlrabi, Carrots, Potatoes, Leaf Lettuce, Cabbage, Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Berries, Swiss Chard, Herbs- cut and potted, Radishes, Turnips, Squash, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Peas, Onions, Beets
